Fall Sneaker Action

Fall is a difficult season for shoes. Too hot for Uggs but too cold for flats. The latest trend of wearing sneakers is perfect. Not too warm or cold. And they are great for those who walk to work or are taking transportation. This was me yesterday on my way to work with my sneakers from Steve Madden. Love them, if only I could wear them at work too.

Happy Friday!

Voting attire

Because we all need a voting outfit.

So I thought it would have to be a preppy look. What’s a preppy look… Button-up shirt and sweater off the shoulders. Done! Wore a silk blouse to the office tucked into my trousers and a pair of heels.

When I got home, a changed to a cotton shirt and a pair of skinny jeans.  With UGGs. Can’t forget the Chanel bag to complete the preppy look.

And the most important accessory…. my voting card.

NW Green Midi dress

Loved the fit of this dress I bought online at Naked Wardrobe. It’s always stressful buying online but these are pretty true to size and fit like a glove. This one has a double lining so it’s thicker and makes for a smooth silhouette. Paired it with my Joe Fresh heels and faux sheepskin coat from French Connection. I was also rocking my Animas insulin pump. Trying to find creative places to put it. It’s especially hard with a dress and a skin tight one at that.

Wedding Glam

This past weekend was one of my friend’s wedding. We had been talking about it for over a year while she was planning. I had butterflies in my stomach waiting to see her walk down the aisle. Her beautiful gown was from Inbal Dror. Here is a look into their amazing day.

For church I wore a bright pink shift dress from Lord and Taylor I got for $15! Best purchase ever! Paired it with my Chanel classic flap and Valentino studded heels. Talk about a high and low look!

For the receiption, I put my hair up in a fancy ponytail and changed into a gown. This one is from Asos. I love it and should get it in another colour.  Paired it with a smaller Chanel bag- WOC and Steve Madden strap heels. I also borrowed one of my friend’s chunky crystal necklace which matched up perfectly.

September 29 – Checkered game

Comfy look today. Love these Joe Fresh pants (old), with a grey sweater from Zara and a chunky necklace from J. Crew. Easy look for the Fall. Grab some patterned pants, a neutral sweater in beige, grey, black, or white, then add a big and bold necklace.

Oh and I got new eyeglasses from Bailey Nelson. They are new to Canada. Prescription lenses and frames for $145! Any frame design they have. What a great deal. Definitely going to get another pair soon. Check it out!  www.baileynelson.ca They have a location at Square One and Queen St. W.
